I have worked with astoneham for a total of about 5 years and would gladly do so again. He is a talented and conscientious developer with a deep understanding of PHP, Symfony, and the Doctrine ORM (among other things).
He is well-versed in Agile methodologies and then entire SDLC. He is a hands-on developer with the ability to break down business requirements into software solutions. I have worked with him as a peer and with him as a lead developer and believe him to have excellent leadership skills.
In short, I give him my highest recommendation.

I would gladly do XP programming and software development work with Sbargy.
He is not just skilled with the intricate of Symfony (and web 2.0 technologies) he is also firmly surrounded in the traits /mindsets / principles practice and philosophies that make that make a good engineer great.
